I took some pictures of the sky while we were up near the Kruger recently...it was just so beautiful I had to!

There was actually a vulture in the tree in the centre of this photo, but it's too far away to see nicely unfortunately.

Baby Gecko

We found this wee little guy on the balcony yesterday.

I took loads of pictures but these are about the only ones that came out ok...trying to focus on someone so tiny with my little point and shoot wasn't very easy!

Yellow Blossom

I took this when we were up near the Kruger National Park last week.

Apparently there has been a drought up there for the last few years and we visited just as they had their first rains, so there were leaves and grass just starting to emerge.

I liked the contrast of this little yellow blossom against the late afternoon sky.

I'm back!!!

I know it's been a long time but phew I never knew having a baby and trying to work from home would be so hectic!

I often miss my photo a day challenge though, but have decided that while I don't need the pressure of posting a daily photo, I would still like to post pics as and when I get the time to.

So I am starting again!

Here is my first pic, I was lying out in the garden with Seth this last weekend and thought these leaves were so beautiful against the blue sky. I wondered if I could capture the colours on my camera...I think it turned out ok?

Day 200 - Self Portrait

As I was tagged to do a meme, I thought I would try a self portrait. Unfortunatley I forgot that when you are heavily pregnant it is probably not the best time to have pictures taken as you are usually quite puffy from the water retention. Oh well, this was the best of the bunch...heavily photoshopped LOL!

Day 199 - Michael in the Basket

Yesterday my good friend Jane visited with my favourite little boy, Michael.

The next thing we get called down the passage to find he's climbed into the cat's basket, and wants to sing for us using a torch as a microphone.

I just had to take a picture.

Day 198 - Empty Crib

So today we saw the midwife for the first time since we are "overdue". Baby is still perfectly happy and doesn't want to come out to fill the empty crib...sob!

I couldn't resist a picture of my two sleepy cats. They absolutely adore their basket and barely move out of it these days.
