Day 5 - And before we can lounge..........

Here's the before pic I took this morning of the lounge. We've been painting all day and only have a few final touches to finish tomorrow morning. Then it's onto painting the study!

Day 4 - Before we can study, we must paint!

So this is the bedroom we've designated as the study. I've decided to post a before pic because we'll be painting it, along with our lounge, this weekend. I'll keep you updated with pics of the lounge and what the rooms look like when we're finished.

If you look closely you can see the muddy footprints our cats have kindly left on the wall under the window.

Day 3 - Wall Art

This is my wall art - the idea was to find all sorts of interesting junk and put it up on my wall, mixed in with picture frames. As you can see I haven't gotten very far...hopefully this will motivate me so I can post a photo showing some progress soon.

Day 2 - Sunshine on a Rainy Day

So the weather today is one of my favorites, all misty and dark at the start, rain for most of the morning, and now that it's afternoon bright blue skies with clouds scudding across them and sunshine sparkling off all the clean surfaces.

I thought I would try catch a little of the sunshine on an otherwise grey day

I love the gentle tinkling noise these bells make in my home - I find any excuse to brush past them so I can set their voices free
